Tampons and cigarettes

A man walks into a pharmacy and wanders up & down the aisles..
The sales girl notices him and asks him if she can help him.
He answers that he is looking for a box of tampons for his wife.
She directs him down the correct aisle.
A few minutes later, he deposits a huge bag of cotton balls and a ball of string on the counter.
She says, confused, ' Sir, I thought you were looking for some tampons for your wife?
He answers, 'You see, it's like this, yesterday, I sent my wife to the store
to get me a carton of cigarettes, and she came back with a tin of tobacco
and some rolling papers; cause it's sooo-ooo--oo-ooo much cheaper.
So, I figure if I have to roll my own ..... so does she...

To be or not to be a schmuck?

The dictionary defines Schmuck as "one who is stupid or foolish, or an obnoxious detestable person, in Yiddish it means penis."

Well let me tell you there where a lot of penises out tonight the Yiddish kind to be specific. These poor beautiful girls in packs like a herd the wise man said clink clink with their heels as the herd moves from place to place, and these penises stand at the bar waiting for these girls in the herd to approach them. Marvelous people watching, if you ask me.

Why do these beauties put up with these penises I ask? Self-doubt, fear of rejection, or just simple stupidity I think. I am no expert but why? Why do you strut your shit dt in your slutty lil outfit that cost you your $15 dollars just to stand around at the bar in the mere hope that a schmuck may speak to you just to stand there and have him not buy you a drink. So sad for these beauties.

So here it goes rules to live by

1. Life is hard enough as it is without choosing someone difficult to share it with
2. You picked a lemon, lemonade is over rated throw it away
3. You already have an asshole you don't need another one
4. The word "Busy" is a load of crap
5. If he wants to find you, he will.

Staycation are you in? Or are you out? I challenge you

I love cruising I took my first cruise when I was 7 and now at the ripe ol age of 28 I am a platinum cruiser. This probably stems from my great sense of travel and adventure. The want to see as many places as i can and experience as many cultures. well today and friday you are in luck two huge 3,500 passenger cruise ships are pulling into Santa Barbara right here in your own backyard.

There is nothing better then seeing new places, experiencing new things, and meeting new and interesting people that can enrich your life.

Today, tomorrow or even this weekend I challenge you to be a tourist in your own town. Pick your travel companion wisely we all know they can make it or break your experience.


Join someone's table for brunch and stay and all drink mimosas together
Ride the trolly all the way up state street offering to pay people's fares see how many friends you meet
Take a sunset cruise with someone who loves you with bubbles disposable camera and make a photo book
Go check out the rose garden sit and read a book,
Travel to the zoo on bikes pack a picnic lunch
Rent wheels on fun with your dog and stop at all the local tasting rooms,
Go ride the marry go round with your lover just for fun
Jump on the train and head to carpenteria for the day stop at the spot and island brewery
Eat oysters and beer at Brophys then walk out to the sandbank
Ride scooters down to brew house with your dog where there's a menu just for your four legged friend
Wear wigs downtown change your names to a popular show sex and the city say your from new york see how many people will notice

What's a Single Girl to Do?

Being recently single I thought I might dive head first into the dating game. Wow have times changed it wasn't that long ago I was dating without Internet at my fingers and apps that showed me my perfect mate or three. What Ever happened to a good old fashioned phone call led into a man asking you out on a proper date. Well I miss that, and am bringing it back news flash to all you men out there don't text me, tinder me, poke me, or like me, pick up the damn phone. And most importantly to all you ladies you are beautiful, intelligent, smart women except nothing less.
